To celebrate the 80th year of work of Apostolic workers in the Archdiocese of Armagh, Archbishop Eamon Martin celebrated a special Mass of Thanksgiving in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday 12th October at 1pm. Many missionary priests joined for the celebration in this Extraordinary Month of Mission. The organisation was started in Armagh by Miss Margaret Colgan in 1939 and has provided wonderful support, both financially and materially for the last 80 years. The needs of the missions are still great and range from water, food, medicines, education, transport, Churches, sacred items, altar linens, vestments, etc. Thank you to all who joined and helped us celebrate this occasion.
There was also an Apostolic Exhibition in the Cardinal O’Fiaich Library 2nd – 12th October.
